The elected and appointed officials who serve the City of Galesville are a dedicated group who put serving the public above all else. We are committed to providing exceptional citizen service at all times.
An elected Mayor and Common Council govern the City of Galesville. The City is divided into three wards with two council representatives for each ward. The mayor serves for a term of three years and council persons for a term of 2 years. One alderperson of the council for each ward is elected yearly. The Common Council meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Meetings are held in the Community Room of the Galesville Public Library and begin at 7:00 PM.
